HomeSide unveils new look for the future

SYDNEY: HomeSide Lending has unveiled a radical new look reflecting its commitment to provide excellent service to mortgage brokers and incorporating the HomeSide crew’s sense of fun and enjoyment.

HomeSide’s new look uses silhouettes of people engaged in a variety of activities and each piece of communication carries a different image. The new look will be incorporated into all HomeSide branded collateral including business cards and marketing material (example images attached).

“Every time we have a new communication we will search for the best image to depict what we are wanting to convey and the images will be off beat and reflect the energy we apply to working with mortgage brokers,” said Mike Lawrence, General Manager, Mortgage Broker Alliances*.

“For example, every HomeSide employee will have a different image on their business cards to reflect their individual personality.”

In addition to creating a new image, HomeSide has also changed the name of its frontline team from Business Development Managers to Broker Alliance Managers.

“We believe that forming strong relationships with mortgage brokers is about more than just supplying a good mortgage product, it is also about the long term success of the mortgage broker’s business in an ever evolving financial services industry,” said Mr Lawrence.

In line with HomeSide’s focus on adding value to a mortgage broker’s whole business and not just the sale of a product, HomeSide Lending recently piloted a series of workshops for mortgage brokers called the Market Education Program.

“These workshops are focused on life inside a mortgage broker’s business and how mortgage brokers can deliver a better experience to their clients with the first two workshops in the series covering “understanding self employed clients” and “speedy application to settlement”,” said Mr Lawrence.

“We want to help mortgage brokers run the most successful businesses they can and this is why our Broker Alliance Managers work hard to form strong alliances with mortgage brokers where both parties recognise value in the partnership.”

* Mortgage Broker Alliances is responsible for the National Australia Bank’s relationship with around 250 mortgage broker companies representing approximately 9,000 individual loan writers across Australia who choose to include HomeSide branded mortgage products on their panel to meet their customers’ needs.
