NAB ATMs in Melbourne out of service due to Brinks strike action

Some National Australia Bank (NAB) ATMs in the Melbourne area are currently out of service due to strike action on the part of staff at one of its armoured carrier service providers, Brinks.

NAB Chief Operating Officer Retail Banking, Mr Jeremy Dean said that NAB apologised to customers for the inconvenience.

"We are working to restock as many ATMs as possible, however, we will not be able to ensure that all Melbourne ATMs are up and running.

"Customers who need to use other bank ATMs because of the Brinks strike action should contact our call centre or their nearest branch and we will refund any $1.50 non-National ATM fees charged," Mr Dean said.

The Brinks strike action impacts Melbourne based ATMs only.  NAB is working closely with Brinks and other armoured carrier service providers to ensure that services are restored as quickly as possible.

To request a refund of the $1.50 non-National ATM fee customers should call 13 22 65 between 8am to 9pm (EDST) Monday to Friday, or visit their nearest branch.
