Corporate Banking

Corporate Banking is responsible for NAB's relationships with Australia's Top 500 Corporations, excluding Financial Institutions which are the responsibility of the Financial Institutions Group within IMS.  Corporate Banking is represented in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Perth and is structured along Australia-Wide Industry Groups:

  • Consumer
  • Industrials
  • Utilities & Infrastructure
  • Natural Resources
  • Telecommunications, Media & Technology
  • Property & Construction

Corporate Banking works closely across all Bank product groups to ensure that the most appropriate product & service mix is delivered to our Clients in a timely and profitable manner.

Major Client Group (MCG)

The MCG distributes products and services to large private and small publicly listed companies with turnover in the range of $35m to $350m.  This business is structured along the same industry lines as Corporate Banking and comprises around 200 employees in all capital cities.  The operating model is based on 'high touch' relationship management and is closely linked to all other specialist product and services groups.

Private Bank

The Private Bank was established in 1996 to cater for the needs of a select group of clients and focuses on more than just transactional banking - it's about providing a total, holistic financial service to those people whose complex financial situations require a specialists approach.  The Private Bank also operates on 'high touch' relationship management.
