After 10 years, the NAB Volunteer Awards are drawing to a close.
In the last decade more than 500 community groups across the country have shared in $2.6 million in prize money for their best practice in managing volunteers.
The NAB Volunteer Awards have made a significant contribution in rewarding and promoting the high standards of volunteer management practices in Australian community organisations.
NAB is refocusing its efforts around employee volunteering with an emphasis on transferring the business and professional skills of our 22,000 people to assist the community.
Through our continued dialogue with community organisations we are responding to their demand for volunteers with professional skills as this is where NAB can make a real difference in the volunteering space in the future. This includes the recent launch of our virtual volunteering initiative volunteerxchange.
NAB is proud to continue to sponsor National Volunteer Week in May 2008. This week provides a national focus for recruiting, celebrating and thanking volunteers in our community.
Thank you to all community groups, judges and program partner Volunteering Australia for the support of the program in the last 10 years. Our 2007 winners are featured below.
