NAB is a proud partner of the Fifteen Foundation, supporting the organisation and the trainees since the doors opened in 2006. The strong relationship demonstrates NAB’s and Fifteen’s shared philosophy - creating opportunities for people to helping them achieve their dreams.
For the Fifteen Foundation’s trainees, life is busy as they work hard to develop professional careers in the restaurant industry. And whilst Tobie Puttock and the team may be keeping them busy learning the art of sautéing, saucing and slicing, NAB plays an important role in arming them with important tools for their financial futures.
A dedicated team of NAB staff have been mentoring trainees with a range of financial education to help them secure their futures. Mentors guide trainees through various troubles that may have plagued them during their lives including significant debt, troubles supporting young children and lack of savings.
According to the Fifteen Foundation, these skills complement their development program, specifically providing the trainees with long term financial skills that will help them for the rest of their lives.
