NAB backs Indigenous Australia

8 January, 2006

NAB is backing Indigenous communities by working with government agencies and community organisations on a range of projects and initiatives.

These include:

  • employment opportunities at NAB for Indigenous people;
  • a financial literacy program led by the National Indigenous Money Management Agenda (NIMMA) project;
  • a business development program with the Queensland Government and the Torres Strait Regional Authority (TSRA) Community Business Hub;
  • an education program across five states with The Yachad Accelerated Learning Project; and
  • a social awareness and education program for NAB managers with Welcome to Country.

There is more information about these initiatives on the Indigenous Australia pages of our web site.

In addition, the Corporate Social Responsibility Report 2006 features more information about NAB's work with Indigenous communities.
