About you and your application

We recruit a diverse range of people and skills. Our graduates have studied everything from Business, Commerce and Economics through to Computer Science, Agriculture, Law, Engineering and Science. The specific requirements of each business are outlined in their business unit profiles.

Please note: We are only able to accept applications for our graduate program from people who are Australian or New Zealand citizens or who already hold Australian Permanent Residency. Holders of Skilled Graduate Subclass 485 or 476 Visas are NOT eligible to apply for roles with NAB.

Your application
When applying to NAB we really want you to have thought about your application, as this is the first time you have a chance to introduce yourself to us and we want to know what is good about you! For this reason, we have provided a number of resources to assist you, right through the recruitment process, in our graduate toolbox.

What's on when and where
Make sure that you are fully informed about what we have to offer by attending either an information session on campus or one of the many careers fairs we are attending through March and April as well as events run by professional associations. This is an ideal time to come and ask us questions. Read more.

Key steps in the recruitment process
Because we recruit for a number of different business units, the recruitment process may vary, but we have outlined the common steps you may experience. Read more.

Communicating with you during the application process
When you submit your application, please note that we communicate with you by email and SMS. We strongly recommend you select the option that allows you to receive SMS messages as sometimes the time you have to complete tasks in the process may be very short, and we are not able to track down people who've opted not to receive SMS messages and fail to check their emails regularly.
