The NAB Cup is in full swing with the remaining round one games played over the weekend! With the early demise of Collingwood on international soil, it was up to the remaining 14 teams to join Adelaide in round two.
St Kilda, Western Bulldogs, Geelong, Carlton, Essendon, Hawthorn and Fremantle all played thrilling matches, extending their stay in the NAB Cup.
A total of 24 NAB Supergoals have been kicked throughout the NAB Cup which means that NAB has already donated $24,000 to grassroots footy. For each NAB Supergoal kicked, $1000 goes to the player's junior club. Jared Brennan of the Brisbane Lions, snuck in two NAB Supergoals against Essendon, so his junior club of Southern Districts in the Northern Territory are set to receive $2000.
Richmond, Kangaroos, Melbourne, Port Adelaide, Brisbane, Sydney and West Coast will now be travelling to local Australian communities including Melbourne, Cairns, Albany and Sydney to compete in the NAB Challenge.
Next weekend, we'll see footy travelling to Narrandera, Alice Springs, Gold Coast, Bendigo, Canberra, Adelaide and Melbourne! The NAB Cup and NAB Challenge are just a small way NAB is helping our people, our customers and the next generation achieve their dreams!
