Terms and Conditions

1. Information about prizes and how to enter forms part of these conditions. By entering the competition, entrants accept these conditions.
2. Entry into the Competition is only open to NAB customers who, during the Competition Period, register for NAB Internet Banking for the first time and are Australian residents aged 18 years or over. Employees or contractors of NAB are not eligible to enter.
3. The competition starts at 12 midnight on Monday 31 March 2008 and closes at 12 midnight Tuesday 30 September 2008 (Competition Period). Times are AEST.
4. To enter the Competition, during the Competition Period Eligible Customers should: (a) register for NAB Internet Banking at nab.com.au/internetbanking; and (b) then login into NAB Internet Banking from nab.com.au and reply to the NAB Internet Banking secure message entitled "Internet Banking LCD TV competition" completing the following Sentence in 25 words or less: "I registered for NAB Internet Banking because…".
5. The best valid entry received each month as determined by the judges will win a 56cm LG LCD television each valued at $999 RRP. There are 6 prizes to be won. The total prize pool is $5,994.
6. Only one entry per person permitted. Entrants with multiple NAB Identification Numbers (NAB Id) should register for NAB Internet Banking using their primary NAB Id.
7. NAB may deem entries not complying with these terms and conditions invalid. This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winners. Each valid entry will be individually judged on the basis of literary and creative merit. The judges' decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
8. All entries will become NAB's property. Each 25 words or less statement must be the entrant's original work. Entrants agree that NAB may make copies of or publish their entry and undertake that their entry is not, and its use by NAB will not be, in breach of any person's intellectual property rights.
9. The winners agree at NAB's request to participate in any promotional activity regarding winning the prize and consents to their name and image being used in promotional material.
10. The winners will be notified by secure message and to the email address provided. All winners’ names will be published on nab.com.au/internetbanking on 15 October 2008.
11. NAB may disqualify invalid entries from this competition or the entries of any person who tampers with or benefits from the tampering with the entry process or the conduct of the competition. NAB may cancel, suspend or vary the competition if for any reason it is not capable of being conducted as planned.
12. Prizes are not exchangeable or transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. If a/the winner does not take a part of the prize at the time set by NAB, the winner will forfeit that part. NAB accepts no responsibility for changes in prize value.
13. Prizes must be claimed by the end of the month following the month in which the winners won the prize, otherwise that winner will forfeit the prize and NAB will distribute the prize to the next best valid entry received in the relevant month that has not already received a prize. Prizes will delivered by courier to the winning entry’s confirmed delivery address.
14. NAB will not be liable for any loss (including without limitation, indirect, consequential or indirect loss), cost or damage, personal injury or death which is suffered (whether or not due to the negligence of any person) in connection with entering the competition or using the prize, except any liability which cannot be excluded by law (and if so, that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law). NAB accepts no responsibility for the tax implications from prize winnings.
15. The personal information you provide will be used by NAB, and may be disclosed to its agents, to conduct the competition. 16. Unless you have indicated the "opt-out" on NAB Internet Banking secure message reply entry to the competition, you consent to the storage of your personal information on the Promoter's database and consent to it being used to tell you about the Promoter's products and services, including by contacting you by electronic messaging.
