NAB will again this year join with millions of people around the world to unite and switch off lights at 8pm on 29 March for Earth Hour. The campaign aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 5% in 2008.
Earth Hour uses the simple action of turning off lights for one hour to deliver a powerful message about the need for action on global warming.
People - whether at home, work or out and about - are being urged to sign up right across the world. Twenty four cities are already committed including Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Copenhagen, Toronto, Chicago, Tel Aviv and Manila.
NAB will be turning off lights in all CBD based offices, branches and our sky signs across the Australian region.
