Volunteering Partners

NAB partners with hundreds of community organisations to help us provide meaningful volunteering opportunities to our employees who can through their volunteering make a real difference to communities across Australia. Some of our partners are featured below.

Conservation Volunteers

Conservation Volunteers

Since 2004 NAB has partnered with Conservation Volunteers. Hundreds of NAB employees have volunteered on environmental programs across Australia as part of their two days of volunteer leave.

CVA is a not-for-profit, non-political, independent and community-based organisation that manages community involvement in almost 1,500 conservation projects across Australia each year. Activities include tree planting, endangered flora and fauna surveys and walking track construction.

Activities are offered by CVA to our people every month. All activities are managed by trained environmentalists who provide employees with a briefing on the ecology of the area.

One Umbrella

One Umbrella

One Umbrella and NAB volunteers will feed thousands of homeless people in Melbourne this year.

The bank has a formal volunteering partnership with the charity which collects unwanted food from butchers, bakers, caterers, manufacturers and markets and turns it into nutritious meals for the homeless and hungry of the city.

Each year 500 NAB volunteers will work with the charity to prepare food ready for distribution to 40 welfare agencies including soup vans and crisis centres. In the last 12 months the organisation provided 420,000 meals and from 140 tonnes of food that would have ended up in landfill.
