NAB's community newsletter "A little word from NAB" has gone from strength to strength with now over 3000 subscribers.
Community Report
NAB's Community Advisory Council (CAC) has released its second annual report on its activities. The CAC was formed in 2006 to ensure a greater level of response and accountability to the community from NAB and its management.
Small loans pilot on track
In May 2008, NAB launched the small loans pilot as an extension of its microfinance program to address financial exclusion.

Andrew Demetriou joins NAB council
National Australia Bank has appointed Andrew Demetriou, Chief Executive Officer of the Australian Football League (AFL), to its Community Advisory Council. The Council provides a forum with community organisations and is an avenue for NAB to keep in touch with community issues facing the bank in Australia.

NAB walks with fundraising duo to beat cancer
