NAB’s financial planning process is structured to make seeking advice straightforward and transparent. Your financial planner or specialist will work closely with you and your business banker at each stage of the process so that they have a full understanding of your business and strategy, and can develop a plan to suit your needs.

First appointment
This is free of charge; it is about meeting each other, understanding your business and strategy, and working out how financial advice can benefit you.

Strategy development
If you decide to proceed, we will discuss all fees and charges with you at this point and, with your go-ahead, will start developing strategies to achieve your objectives

Strategy recommendations
Your financial planner or specialist will outline their recommendations to you in a document known as a Statement of Advice. They will also fully disclose any associations they have with financial product issuers or other parties, and any NAB fees and commissions. If a specific financial product is recommended, you’ll also be provided with a Product Disclosure Statement so that you can make an informed decision.

Implementation
You and your financial planner or specialist will implement the plan together. This may involve setting up the investment and insurance products recommended in your plan, and working with other specialist professionals where necessary.

Ongoing planning
We will continue to work with you to ensure that the solutions meet the ongoing needs of your business.
