Attention all NAB Internet Banking Customers

Fraudulent emails have been distributed that appear to be sent from NAB or other legitimate businesses that attempt to trick you into providing personal information such as NAB ID, Internet or Telephone Banking password, credit card details etc.

There are also other emails generally from senders unknown to you that contain links or attachments that may download and install malicious software (Malware) onto your computer.

Example 1: Hoax Email

Do notclick on any links, open attachments or enter any personal information - NAB will not send emails of this nature. If you have,  call the Internet & SMS Banking Support Team immediately on 1300 651 656.

1. Use free SMS security – Even if your ID and password fall into the wrong hands, funds cannot be transferred without your approval. Contact 1300 651 656 or your banker to register.
2. All customers should keep their operating system to date by ensuring that automatic updates are switched on and any updates are installed when they become available.Go to Microsoft Windows OR Apple Mac

4. Always type www.nab.com.au into your browsers address bar when accessing the NAB website and Internet Banking.
5. Pause and Think when receiving an email or viewing a website that looks suspicious. If you are concerned don't proceed and ask for assistance on 1300 651 656.
