How do I start NAB Internet Banking?

Getting started on NAB Internet Banking is easy.

  • You can start NAB Internet Banking right now if you are a National customer with:
    - at least one acceptable transaction account, (eg NAB eBanking, NAB FlexiAccount to which a FlexiPlus Mortgage facility is attached, NAB Business Cheque Account)
    - a NAB Identification Number (NAB ID) and Telephone Banking Password, and
    - the right equipment.
  • If you are a National customer with at least one transaction account, but you don't have a NAB ID and Telephone Banking Password, you can apply for one right now by calling 1300 651 656 or by contacting your Banker or visiting a National outlet.
  • If you are a Business customer, you will need to complete an application form and may need to provide suitable identification such as a NAB Credit Card or a driver's licence. You will be given a NAB ID and password for your business "on the spot".
  • If you are not a National customer, call us on 13 13 12 or call into your local outlet to see how the National can help you.

How long does it take to register for NAB Internet Banking?

It will take only a few minutes to register for NAB Internet Banking depending on the speed of your browser and internet connection. Access to NAB Internet Banking will be available immediately you have completed the registration process successfully.

I am having trouble registering - what should I do?

First, you should check that you have met all of the minimum requirements for NAB Internet Banking. If you are not sure, check the Technical Requirementssection.

How do I register for Enhanced Internet Banking?

You can register for this service online:

  • Login to Internet Banking and select the 'my settings' option from the top menu bar
  • From the drop down list select 'Register to enhance internet banking'
  • Follow the steps to complete the registration. Follow the steps to complete the registration.

Please note it can take up to 2 business days for your request to be actioned.
