Switching to NAB is easy. Simply open an account and we’ll help you transfer your regular payments from your old bank account. Here’s how:
| 1. Open a NAB Smart Everyday Account |

Choose a NAB Smart everyday account that suits you.
Compare accounts or call 13 13 12, 8am – 9pm EST.

| 2. Identify your regular payments |
|
Find out the details of your regular payments from your old bank account statements or ask your old financial institution to provide you with a list.
You may have Direct Debits such as telephone bills, gym membership; or Direct Credits such as your salary, share dividends.

| 3. Switch your payments to your new NAB account |
|
Contact each organisation and find out how to update your details - many will allow you to update your details by telephone. Refer to our Contact List for contact details of the most common organisations.
If you need to make the change in writing, enter your details in our Switch Form to generate letters to change your regular payments.

- Update any other regular payments you’ve set up in internet banking
- Check your payments have been switched
- Close your old bank account
- Find out more about using your account

Switching from NAB?
NAB can also provide customers with a listing of regular payment arrangements on their personal transaction/savings account upon request. Customers will receive the listing of regular payments to their mailing address within 5 business days of lodging their request with NAB.
