About FlyBuys & Joining
What is FlyBuys?
FlyBuys is Australia's biggest shopping rewards program that offers you a no fee, fuss-free way to collect some fantastic rewards. With a FlyBuys membership you can earn points on your everyday shopping at participating businesses.1 You can also link your eligible NAB credit card to your FlyBuys membership and earn FlyBuys points on your everyday purchases3.
How do I sign up for FlyBuys?
You have 3 options when signing up for FlyBuys:

Apply online through the FlyBuys website

Call the FlyBuys Service Centre on 13 1116, 9am - 7pm AEST, Monday to Friday (excluding national public holidays); or

complete an application form from a participating FlyBuys business.
Once a FlyBuys member, simply link your eligible NAB credit card2 to your FlyBuys membership account. You can do this by filling out a FlyBuys Request to Link form or phoning the NAB Customer Service Centre on 13 22 65 (Option 1), 8am – 8pm AEST, Monday to Friday.
Does it cost to join?
There are no joining or ongoing fees to be a member of FlyBuys.

If you have a FlyBuys membership number at the time of applying, you can enter this on the application form to link your credit card to your FlyBuys membership.
How do I link my existing NAB credit card to my FlyBuys membership?
Join FlyBuys online through FlyBuys or call the FlyBuys Service Centre on 13 1116, 9am - 7pm AEST, Monday to Friday (excluding national public holidays) or pick up an application form from one of the participating FlyBuys businesses. Once a FlyBuys member, link your eligible NAB credit card to your membership with the FlyBuys Request to Link form or by phoning the NAB Customer Service Centre on 13 22 65 (Option 1), 8am – 8pm AEST, Monday to Friday.

How do I earn FlyBuys points?
Present your FlyBuys card when you spend a minimum of $5 at any of the participating FlyBuys businesses.
Earn even more FlyBuys points when you link your eligible NAB credit card to your FlyBuys membership account. You can do this by filling out a FlyBuys Request to Link form or phoning the NAB Customer Service Centre on 13 22 65 (Option 1), 8am – 8pm AEST, Monday to Friday.
Where can I earn FlyBuys points?
If your eligible NAB credit card is linked to your FlyBuys membership, you can earn points whenever you use your NAB credit card for eligible purchases3. If you use your credit card at a participating FlyBuys business and show your FlyBuys membership card, you will earn points from your credit card purchase as well as from the business.
Participating FlyBuys businesses include: Coles Supermarkets, BI-LO, Coles Express, Target, Kmart, Baby Target, Kmart Tyre and Auto, First Choice Liquor Superstore, Liquorland, Vintage Cellars, Liquorland Direct, Harris Technology and JetSet or Travelworld travel centres, Budget Car Rental, EziBuy, Best Western and Officeworks.
How can I check my points balance?
FlyBuys will send you regular statements to let you know your points total including points used, points expired and new points earned in that month. You can also check your points online on the FlyBuys website or you can call the FlyBuys Service Centre on 13 1116, 9am – 7pm AEST, Monday to Friday (excluding national public holidays).
Once your eligible NAB credit card is linked to your FlyBuys membership, all points are automatically transferred to your FlyBuys membership at the end of your monthly statement period. Your NAB credit card statement will show the number of FlyBuys points you have earned for that statement period.
How many points can I earn?
Earn FlyBuys points when you spend on eligible purchases3:
- Earn 1 point for every $5 spent on purchases in a statement period
Is there a limit to the number of points I can earn?
You can earn as many FlyBuys points as you like on your linked NAB credit card or when you present your FlyBuys card at a participating FlyBuys business4. And what’s more, there's no annual fee to join!
How can I earn points faster?
Use your eligible NAB credit card when shopping at a participating FlyBuys business. This way, you'll earn FlyBuys points twice - once on your NAB credit card and once from the business.
You can also increase your points by looking out for bonus points offers online, at participating businesses and in the FlyBuys Member Rewards Magazine.
How long are my FlyBuys points valid for?
Your points expire on the last working day of the month, 3 years after the month you earned them.

What rewards are on offer?
There are hundreds of reward options, including flights, accommodation, gift cards, vouchers, DVDs, wine, restaurants, adventures/tours and car rental. You can even redeem points for a credit to your linked NAB credit card. Go to the FlyBuys website to find out more.

How do I redeem my points?
Once you have at least 2,500 FlyBuys points, choose from the range of reward options online at the FlyBuys Rewards page or you can request a copy of the current FlyBuys Member Rewards Magazine by calling the FlyBuys Service Centre on 13 1116, 9am and 7pm AEST, Monday to Friday (excluding national public holidays).
The rewards available include flights, accommodation, gift cards, vouchers and lifestyle merchandise. You can also redeem your FlyBuys points for a credit to your linked NAB credit card – from a $20 credit to your card for 2,500 points to $500 for 62,500 points5.
Is there a minimum number of points I need to start redeeming?
Yes. You need at least 2,500 FlyBuys points before you can start redeeming.

- Only applicable on NAB Visa Classic, NAB Standard MasterCard, NAB Visa Gold, NAB MasterCard Gold and NAB Ant® American ExpressTM Card with No Annual Card Fee.
- Purchases are calculated as total credit purchases less sales credits (i.e. returns) and adjustments during a statement period. Excludes cash advances (including bills paid over the counter at a bank, financial institution or post office and purchases of travellers cheques) or when the card is used as a debit card to access linked accounts or transactions we decide are wholly or partly for a business purpose. Also excludes fees and charges (including government fees and charges), interest charges, transactions which are disputed, fraudulent or involve abuse of your credit card account, payments and purchases which are refunded or reimbursed.

FlyBuys points are valid for 3 years starting from the month after you earned them.

If your NAB credit card is linked to your FlyBuys membership you may redeem FlyBuys points for a credit to your linked card account. This credit will be made within ten business days of your redemption and is available for your use provided your linked card account is in sufficient credit. You will still need to make the minimum payment required by the terms and conditions applicable to your linked card account and cannot do this by redeeming FlyBuys points. You cannot redeem points for cash. The FlyBuys points redemption will appear on your FlyBuys Points Summary Statement following your redemption. National Australia Bank Limited (‘NAB’) (ABN 12 004 044 937) cannot provide advice on specific tax issues. NAB recommends you seek independent tax advice and legal advice on any tax implications arising from the redemption of points for credit to your account. NAB does not accept any responsibility in respect of these matters.
Other important information
A credit card offers you great flexibility and convenience. But it’s important to remember, like any debt, you will have to repay it. If you are unsure as to whether you will be able to manage repayments for a new credit card, then you should not consider taking up a NAB credit card at this point in time.
