Step 1 - Read the product information about NAB Investment Cash Manager
The NAB Investment Cash Manager provides the flexibility of a transaction account as well as a competitive rate of interest on balances of $10,000 and over.
Access anytime, anywhere
You can access your funds 24 hours 7 days in a range of convenient ways including ATMs (cash point machines), EFTPOS, BPAY®, via cheque book, at any NAB branch, NAB Telephone Banking and Internet Banking.
There are no transaction fees for NAB Internet Banking and NAB Telephone Banking and the first 10 transactions per month via other channels are also free of transaction fees.
Minimum ongoing balance
There is no minimum ongoing balance. However, once you have made an initial deposit into the account, a $10 monthly account service fee applies in any month where the account balance falls below $10,000.
Optional overdraft
The account also comes with the addition of an optional overdraft facility to help manage your cash flow requirements. This can be activated when you arrive in Australia (Subject to normal lending criteria).

Step 2 - Complete an application form

Step 3 - Have your application processed
When your application has been processed, you will receive an email (within two weeks), containing your new account number, Swift BIC/Bank ID and some information about the account. It will also contain contact details for a dedicated NAB Migrant Banker in Australia.
Once you have the account number you can transfer money straight into your account. However it is a requirement of the Australian Government that you provide us with proof of your identity before you can carry out any withdrawals (debit transactions) on the account. You can provide us with the appropriate identification when you arrive in Australia.
Note: You must [intend to] come to Australia within 12 months of an account being opened.

Step 4 - When you arrive in Australia
When you arrive in Australia you will need to schedule a time to meet with your NAB Migrant Banker to provide us with proof of your identity, as required by Australian legislation. You can do this by showing us your passport within 6 weeks of arrival.
Once you have done this, we can also register you for Telephone Banking and Internet Banking and issue you with a NAB bank card.
We can also review your banking needs to ensure you've got the right accounts and services.
A copy of the relevant Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) and the brochure of this product will also be provided.
