UBank, NAB’s dedicated direct bank, has partnered with Fairfax Digital to launch a new, free financial news and advice minisite, ‘On the Money’ that can be found in the money section of smh.com.au, theage.com.au, Brisbanetimes.com.au and WAtoday.com.au.
‘On the Money’ features the latest personal finance news and research, tips and expert advice, as well as online discussion forums on topical issues such as saving, debt management, planning, property, investing and tax.
The site is designed to appeal to readers across the spectrum of financial awareness, from those kicking off their first savings plan, to the more astute investor.
Sam Plowman, Executive General Manager of Direct Banking at NAB explains the minisite will give regular savers and people managing their own finances and investments the opportunity to learn from experts, as well as interact with others who are financially likeminded.
“We hope to establish an online community at ‘On the Money’, where self-directed, proactive money managers can give and receive knowledge or advice.
“In line with UBank’s quick and easy-to-use online financial products, ‘On the Money’ is giving internet-savvy consumers more convenient and accessible ways to manage their money,” he said.
UBank is currently offering 6.21% p.a. on the award-winning USaver account, which includes a 0.36% p.a. savings bonus for customers who set up an automated savings plan. Visit ubank.com.au for more information or to apply for a USaver account.
UBank’s Australian based Direct Banking Centre operates 24/7 on 13 30 80 or via Skype (account: ubank.com.au).
