Product Dislosure Statement (PDS)

This information forms part of your PDS for National Online Business, along with the "National Online Business Product Disclosure Statement (including National Online Business Terms and Conditions)" web page.

Pricing Structure

The following fees and charges apply to National Online Business. You have the choice of two different pricing plans:

  • Plan A: Standard pricing option is designed for businesses with relatively low numbers of account reporting transactions each month. For example, less than 800 account reporting transactions each month. It offers a fee-free threshold followed by a per transaction fee.
  • Plan B: Flat fee pricing option is designed for businesses with relatively high numbers of account reporting transactions each month. For example, more than 800 account reporting transactions each month. It provides a flat monthly fee regardless of the total number of transactions.

The choice is yours.

Standard base monthly fees, account transaction fees and interest charges apply to all accounts accessed using National Online Business.

Transaction Definitions

Account Reporting Transaction Fee

Every account transaction item listed on your account statements as placed in your National Online mailbox. The Account Reporting fee applies for every item regardless of whether the information is used or not, and accrues from the time the software is despatched. This fee is charged per calendar month regardless of whether or not software is installed, connection to NAB has occurred and whether the Account Reporting option chosen is standard or flat fee pricing.

Intraday Account Enquiries Fee

Each time you connect to NAB to check your latest account information, and current balance.

Domestic Funds Transfer Transaction Fee

Any domestic funds transfer between accounts incurs this fee. Domestic funds transfer allows you to transfer funds between your own accounts and make one-to-one, one-to-many and many-to-one payments into accounts at NAB or at other financial institutions in Australia. The one-to-one and one-to-many payment method attracts a fee for credits (National Online does not charge for the debit). The many-to-one payment method attracts a fee for debits (National Online does not charge for the credit). The fee also varies according to chosen payment priority. For instance, overnight, within day or urgent priority.

Direct Payments Transaction Fee

Any credit payment through direct payments incurs this fee. Direct Payments allow similar payment transfers to domestic funds transfer. However, there is the additional convenience of processing Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) files created by payroll or accounting packages that conform to the direct entry system standards and also, manually creating payment instructions to supplement imported files. For example, if you debit your account and credit 20 suppliers, it will be counted as 20 transactions. You are not charged by National Online for the debit from your account.

Stop Cheques Requests Fee

Any request where a cheque number or range of numbers is provided to stop payment against a lost, stolen or unsigned cheque/s. Also includes any other type of stop cheque request, for example stopping payment of a cheque to a third party.

Maintenance Fee

A maintenance fee is charged per calendar month in arrears, regardless of whether or not the software is installed or connection to NAB has occurred, to help maintain and improve the existing service.

Reference Fee

Any Direct Payments or Domestic Funds Transfer Payment Instruction which would, if processed at the time NAB receives the Payment Instruction, exceed your Formal Limit or require more than your Available Funds, is referred to a Relationship Manager for consideration of payment processing. A reference fee will be charged each time a Payment Instruction is referred, whether or not it is processed.

Goods and Services Tax (GST)

Services marked with a cross (+) are classified as taxable supplies under the GST legislation. The fees specified beside such taxable services are GST inclusive. However, in the event of a change to the GST rate, NAB reserves the right to apply the GST clause to all taxable fees specified on this web page.

GST Clause

If NAB is liable to pay goods and services or any similar tax (GST) on any supply made in connection with a specified service, then the customer agrees to pay NAB (on demand) an additional amount equal to the consideration payable for the relevant supply, multiplied by the prevailing GST rate.

Definition of GST

'GST' means a goods and services tax or similar tax imposed in Australia.
