How to get started

Call 13 22 65 or dial +61 3 8641 9083 if you're calling from overseas then follow these steps.

  1. Press 1 for telephone banking.
  2. Enter your NAB ID and press the key.
  3. Enter your password and press the # key again.

Using the main menu

Select from one of the following options.

Account information

For the account information menu press 1. You'll then be given options for specific account information.

Account balances

  1. Press 1.
  2. Listen to your list of accounts.
  3. Listen to your balance.
  4. To repeat list of accounts, press 8.
  5. To enter account number, press the # key.

Interest earned on your account

  1. Press 2.
  2. Press for interest earned for a specific account.
  3. Listen to your list of accounts, and select an account.
  4. To enter account number, press the # key.
  5. Listen to the interest earned for the last financial year and the current financial year.
  6. Press 2 for total interest earned for last financial year.
  7. Listen to the total interest earned for the last financial year.

Your BSB and account number

  1. Press to hear your account details.
  2. Listen to your list of accounts.
  3. Listen to account details.

Transfer funds and redraw

Press then choose to transfer funds or redraw funds.

To transfer funds

  1. Press 1.
  2. Select the 'from' account.
  3. Select the 'to' account.
  4. Enter the amount in dollars and cents, ignoring the decimal point, followed by the # key.
  5. Listen to the confirmation message, if okay to transfer press 1, to cancel press 2.
  6. Record your receipt number.

To redraw funds from your account

Please note, redraw is only available for NAB variable rate home loans and personal loans. If you have a redraw option, follow these steps.

  1. Press 2.
  2. Select the 'from' account.
  3. Select the 'to' account.
  4. Enter the amount in dollars and cents, ignoring the decimal point, followed by the # key.
  5. Listen to the confirmation message, if okay to transfer press 1, to cancel Press 2.
  6. Record your receipt number.

To pay your bills using BPAY®

  1. Press 3.
  2. Enter the BPAY® biller code and press the #.
  3. Select the 'from' account from the list presented or  the key to enter manually.
  4. Enter the BPAY® reference number and press the # key.
  5. Enter the amount in dollars and cents, ignoring the decimal point, followed by the # key.
  6. Listen to the confirmation message, if okay to continue, press 1, to cancel press 2.
  7. Record your receipt number.

Note: Payment amounts can be restricted due to account balances, daily or biller limits.

Transaction history or statements

Press then choose to get your transaction history or to order a statement.

Transaction history

  1. Press 1.
  2. Select account.
  3. To list all account transactions, press 1.
  4. To list all account withdrawals, press 2.
  5. To list all account deposits, press 3.

Order a statement

  1. Press 2.
  2. To order a current statement, press 1.
  3. To order a copy of a previous statement, press 2.

To search for, stop a cheque, or change your password

Press then follow the prompts.

To see if a cheque has been presented

  1. Press 1.
  2. Search for a cheque number.

To stop a cheque or a range of cheques

  1. Press 2.
  2. You'll be transferred a to banker for assistance.

To change your password

  1. Press 3
  2. Enter a new password of six to eight digits and press the key.

For assistance with all other enquiries

  1. Press 6.
  2. You'll be transferred to speak with a customer service representative.
