People and Culture


People & Culture (P&C) devises and implements people strategies, programs and systems to create a great company for our people and create a competitive advantage through them. P&C also works within the business to progress our diversity agenda, and embed the enterprise behaviours that help to shape the organisation’s culture. P&C is made up of:

Business Partners - based in, and serving, a particular line of business.

Centres of Excellence - for specialist/subject matter expertise, these include:

  • Organisational Capability:the Academy, organisational and individual capability building, Dean planning, capability consulting, standards and policy design, delivery (and catalogue), and e-learning
  • Talent and Culture: talent framework and identification, recruitment, graduates, executive recruitment, career paths, diversity, and culture
  • Workplace Performance: performance, rewards, employee benefits, industrial relations, and health and safety

Services – providing our people with NAB-wide P&C operations, systems, processes and procedures. The teams in Services are part of GBS P&C and include Payroll, People Advisory Centre, Analytics, Reporting, Systems, Superannuation, Surveys, Case Management, Workers Compensation, Rehabilitation and Transition Support.
