The login process verifies your identity using your NAB Identification Number (NAB ID) and NAB Internet Banking password. For this reason, you should keep your NAB ID and Password confidential to ensure the security of your NAB Internet Banking transactions.
What to do if you forget your password
If you have forgotten your NAB Internet Banking password or have entered it incorrectly 3 times when logging in, you will need to re-register. Your NAB Internet Banking Password cannot be reset or reactivated as no-one knows it but you.

- enter in your NAB ID and click Next
- enter the SMS authorisation code sent to your mobile phone when prompted

| NOT registered for SMS Security (you will need either a temporary password or a Telephone Banking password) |
- click the Register link on NAB's homepage
- enter in your NAB ID and click Next
- enter your temporary password or Telephone Banking Password when prompted

Note: If you have provided us with your mobile number previously you can elect to register for Internet Banking using a one time SMS security code. Just click on your mobile number located beneath the Telephone Banking or temporary password field and we’ll send you a security code to register for Internet Banking.

Password security
It is recommended that you change your password on a regular basis. This helps to ensure your NAB Internet Banking transactions remain secure.
How to login

To login from the:

click Login in the middle of the Internet Banking screen

- On the Welcome to NAB Internet Banking screen:
- enter your NAB ID (8 to 10 numbers)
- enter your NAB Internet Banking password (Internet Banking passwords must be more than 6 characters long, are case sensitive and must contain at least 2 of the following categories:
- upper case letters;
- lower case letters;
- numbers
- special characters (for example !,@#$%)
Note: For security reasons, your password is encrypted on the screen.
- Click Login to access your NAB Internet Banking screens.
The Account balance screen displays.
