Enhancements to NAB Internet Banking

We've made some changes to NAB Internet Banking, which are designed to make it more convenient and give you more choice in how you bank.

Password changes

Next time you change your password you'll notice we've introduced a Password strength meter which will provide you with a guide to the strength of your password. We've also removed the 8 character maximum limit and you can now use special characters in your password.

International transfer enhancements

We've made it easier for you to transfer funds overseas by allowing you to confirm the IBAN you enter is in a valid format whilst also allowing you to generate the correct SWIFT/BIC code for your IBAN. This will ensure that the funds you are sending will be sent to the correct overseas bank.

Mobile Internet Banking enhancements

We've enhanced Mobile Internet Banking to make it more convenient for you. Via your mobile you can:

Register for Internet Banking,
View your scheduled and past payments,
Create and modify periodic payments, and
Set up and manage your NAB Alerts.

New My Offers

View any previous offers that you may have received via Internet Banking within the My Offers page located within the Apply/Offers menu.

New email notifications

We've introduced new email notifications to alert you when a payment over $5,000 has been submitted, a transfer has been made to a first time payee or when your contact details have been updated.

Please note that NAB will never ask you to click on a link within an email to access NAB Internet Banking. Always access NAB Internet Banking by typing nab.com.au into your browser.

New Payment approvals feature

Do you have accounts that you’d like to use online but they require dual signatories to make withdrawals?

You can now set up your accounts with the new Payment approvals feature which will allow you to delegate payment creation to your staff and have those payments require one or two other people to approve the payment. Speak to your banker or refer to your branch for further information on setting up this feature on your account.

Provide your Tax File Number online

Do you get Withholding Tax taken out of the interest earned on your accounts? If you're registered for SMS Security you can solve this problem by providing your Tax File Number online via the My Details screen under the Settings/Mailbox menu.
