Pre-authenticate

You need to be SMS security registered to pre-authenticate a biller.

To pre-authenticate a biller is to use an SMS code to authorise them as a biller you trust. Once you pre-authenticate a biller, you do not require an SMS code when you make subsequent payments to them, instead you will authorise your instruction using only your Internet Banking password.

A pre-authenticated biller is indicated by a tick ( tick ) in your biller list.
