About us
NAB Capital is one of NAB Group's four business lines. NAB Capital is a global product and services group operating in Australia, New Zealand, UK, Asia and the US. NAB Capital is responsible for providing risk management, funding and investment solutions across all of the Group's client segments and is responsible for relationship management of the Financial Institutions segment on a global basis. Key areas of the NAB Capital business include:
Global Markets
Global Markets provides hedging solutions for clients to protect against adverse interest rate, currency and commodities price movements using a range of derivative instruments such as forwards, swaps, options, and equity and credit derivatives.
This division also helps our clients access the domestic and international capital markets by structuring and underwriting issues of bonds, hybrids, structured capital products, commercial paper and medium term notes which are sold to institutional and retail investors.
Institutional Banking
Our Institutional Banking team in Australia comprises a team of professionals responsible for managing our relationships with key Corporate and Institutional clients.
Its focus is on clients typically from the top 200 companies listed on the Australian Stock Exchange and similarly complex private companies, as well as major financial institutions. Our Client Directors have a detailed knowledge of the legal, accounting, tax, commercial and regulatory issues faced by our clients and work with our product specialists to provide appropriate solutions.
Corporate Finance
The Corporate Finance group provides a range of short term working capital and medium to long term financing solutions for clients across a range of currencies.
Corporate Finance includes Structured Property Finance, Structured Finance, Project Finance, Structured Asset Finance, Property Mezzanine Finance and Leverage Finance.
Structuring & Investments
The Structuring & Investments group is responsible for manufacturing investment product and managing the asset book. It includes Portfolio Management of all debt product in which we choose to invest, including that originated by Corporate Finance, as well as Syndications and Alternative Investments.
Services
NAB Capital Services is responsible for the business platform, supporting the NAB Capital business globally. The business platform comprises of functions such as Technology, Operations, Marketing and others.
Business units such as People & Culture, Risk, Legal and Finance all partner the NAB Capital business to create value and added support.
