NAB has the largest network of Agricultural Finance Specialists in Australia, with over 550 employees serving our Agribusiness customers, who are dedicated to meeting the needs of primary producers and agricultural service providers. The majority of NAB's 240 Agribusiness teams throughout Australia are comprised of an Agribusiness Manager and an Agribusiness Analyst, who work together to manage a portfolio of Agribusiness customers in the surrounding agricultural district.
Number of graduates we will recruit for 2006
Agribusiness recruits approximately 50 graduates each year. Recruitment occurs throughout the year with successful candidates commencing our development program, which is run 3 times throughout the year.

- Prior experience with other businesses that provide services to the agriculture sector since completing their studies in addition to those who have just completed their studies;

Disciplines we recruit from
Our preference is for graduates with an Agribusiness-related discipline/degree; however we do consider applications from graduates with general business qualifications and a wide range of degree and diploma programs.

What you can expect
As an Agribusiness graduate, you will participate in a structured 6 month development program designed to provide the basic technical skills required of an Agribusiness Analyst, while laying the basis for more senior leadership roles in the future. During this 6 month period you will complete 3 months at one of our Agribusiness Credit Centres with the remaining 3 months at a regional location. You will have the opportunity to sit with Analysts and Managers, complete an Analyst relief, and work with customers both in the office and on the farm.
Where our roles are located
Agribusiness Banking Managers and Analysts are located in over 110 locations all over Australia. These are predominantly regional and rural locations. We also have an Agribusiness Credit Centre in Toowoomba and Albury where specialist support, training & development are provided for front line bankers.
What happens after our graduate program
Appointment to a specific role at the end of the graduate-training program is dependent on our business needs, and your willingness to relocate. The Agribusiness career path following completion of the graduate training program may involve working as an Agribusiness Credit Analyst before possible progression to an Agribusiness Analyst role and eventually to an Agribusiness Manager role.
