The Promoter may deem entries not complying with these terms and conditions invalid. This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winners. Each valid entry will be individually judged on the basis of literary and creative merit. The judges’ decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
All entries will become the Promoter’s property. Each 25 words or less statement must be your original work. The best valid entry submitted as determined by the judges, will win a prize. The prize is a $100 NAB Smart Junior Saver voucher entitling the winner to open a NAB Smart Junior Saver containing $100 provided by NAB. The winner will be required to visit their local NAB branch to open the NAB Smart Junior Saver, which will require the signature of a parent or guardian. Use of the NAB Smart Junior Saver will be subject to standard terms and conditions related to that account, which can be obtained from any NAB branch. If the winner already has a NAB Smart Junior Saver, the prize will be deposited into that account. The prize voucher is valid for 3 months after the winner is notified.
The winner will be notified on 11 November 2008 in writing and/or by phone.
The Promoter may disqualify invalid entries from this competition or the entries of any person who tampers with or benefits from the tampering with the entry process or the conduct of the competition. The Promoter may cancel, suspend or vary the competition if for any reason it is not capable of being conducted as planned.
The Judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. If the winning entry is deemed not to comply with these conditions of entry, the entry will be discarded and a new winner will be determined by drawing a further valid entry in accordance with paragraph 5.
The prize cannot be transferred and cannot be redeemed for cash until after the winner has opened the NAB Smart Junior Saver or notified NAB of their existing NAB Smart Junior Saver details. If for any reason the winner does not take an element of the prize at the time stipulated by NAB then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of that element of the prize. If the prize is unavailable, for any reason NAB reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of equal or greater value.
NAB reserves the right to request the winner to provide proof of identity and proof of residency at the nominated prize delivery address. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of NAB.
The winner is advised that Tax implications may arise from their prize winnings and they should seek independent financial advice prior to the acceptance of the prize.
At NAB’s request, the winner must participate in promotional activity (such as publicity and photography) in connection with the win and their parent or guardian consents to NAB using the winner’s name and photograph in promotional material.
