Auskick Greatest Footy Fan Competition

Terms and Conditions

1. Information about prizes and how to enter forms part of these conditions. By entering the competition, you accept these conditions.

2. Entry is only open to Australian residents aged 5-12 years. Entries submitted by employees and their immediate families of either the Promoter and the agencies or companies associated with the competition will not be permitted.

3. The competition starts at 09:00 am on 03 March 2008 and closes at 5:00 pm on 31 March 2008 (Competition Period). All times are Melbourne times.

4. To enter, during the Competition Period send a photo (no more than a 500kb file) of your Auskick registered child displaying how they are the greatest footy fan and send it to greatestfootyfan@nab.com.au, including your name, phone number, address, state, Auskick centre and child’s name.  You may enter as many times as you like provided that you submit a new and original photo with each entry.

5. All valid entries will be entered into the competition. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost, incomplete, delayed, corrupted or misdirected entries whether due to error, omission, alteration, deletion, destruction, transmission interruption, communications failure or otherwise.

6. The Promoter may deem entries not complying with these terms and conditions invalid. This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winner. Each valid entry will be individually judged on the basis of originality and most creative. The judges’ decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

7. All entries will become the Promoter’s property. Each photo must be your original work. You agree that the Promoter may make copies of or publish your entry and undertake that your entry is not, and its use by the Promoter will not be, in breach of any person’s intellectual property rights.

8. The winner agrees at the Promoter’s request to participate in any promotional activity regarding winning the prize and consent to their name and image being used in promotional material.

9. The best valid entry as determined by the judges will win a NAB footy pack valued at $150.00 consisting of a NAB backpack, Sherrin football signed by the NAB AFL Ambassadors (Garry Lyon, Dipper & Jason McCartney), NAB AFL Auskick money box, NAB AFL scarf, NAB AFL cap, NAB pencil cylinder, NAB sipper bottle and NAB inflatable thunder sticks. The winning entry photo will also be posted on the nab.com.au/auskick site, subject to the consent of the winner’s parent or guardian.

10. The winner will be notified in writing and by phone and their name will be published in The Australian on 21 April 2008.

11. The Promoter may disqualify invalid entries from this competition or the entries of any person who tampers with or benefits from the tampering with the entry process or the conduct of the competition. The Promoter may cancel, suspend or vary the competition if for any reason it is not capable of being conducted as planned.

12. Prizes are not exchangeable or transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. If a winner does not take a part of the prize at the time set by the Promoter, the winner will forfeit that part. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for changes in prize value.  

13. The prize/s must be claimed by 7 April 2008 otherwise that winner will forfeit the prize and the Promoter will distribute the prize to the next best valid entry that has not already received a prize.

14. The Promoter will not be liable for any loss (including without limitation, indirect, consequential or indirect loss), cost or damage, personal injury or death which is suffered (whether or not due to the negligence of any person) in connection with entering the competition or using the prize, except any liability which cannot be excluded by law (and if so, that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).

15. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for the tax implications from prize winnings.

16. The personal information you provide will be used by the Promoter, and may be disclosed to its agents, to conduct the competition. For more information about the Promoter’s privacy practices, including how to request access to personal information held by it and/or request that it be corrected, view the Promoter’s Privacy Policy or call 13 22 65 (or 1300 363 647 for hearing impaired individuals with telephone typewriters).
