nabCapital is one of NAB Group's four business lines operating in Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Asia and the United States. We provide risk management, funding and investment solutions for all the Group's client segments and manage key corporate relationships around the world.
Our major divisions include:

Global Markets provides hedging solutions for our clients protecting them against adverse interest rates and currency and commodities price movements using a range of derivative instruments such as forwards, swaps, options, and equity and credit derivatives. This division also helps our clients by structuring and underwriting issues of bonds, hybrids, structured capital products, commercial paper and medium term notes which are sold to institutional investors.

Institutional Banking manages our relationships with key clients typically from the top 200 companies listed on the Australian Stock Exchange and similarly complex private companies, as well as major financial institutions.

Corporate Finance provides a range of short term working capital and medium to long term financing solutions for our clients across a range of currencies. It includes property, asset and leverage finance.

Structuring & Investments creates investment products and manages the asset (loans) book. It includes management of all debt products in which we choose to invest.

nabCapital Services is responsible for the business platforms that support the business globally, and includes the areas of Technology, Operations and others.
Business units such as People & Communications, Marketing, Risk, Legal and Finance provide added support to the wider nabCapital business.
What's the deal?
nabCapital's Graduate Program is based in Sydney and Melbourne and runs for 12 months. In that time you'll take part in a number of rotations through our divisions, which aim to give you a strong grasp of our products and services and an insight into how we manage our client relationships. Our major divisions include Global Markets, Institutional Banking, Corporate Finance, Structuring and Investments and nabCapital Services.
Yes, it'll be challenging, and the first few months will be a steep learning curve, but we'll make sure you get all the support and encouragement you need to make it through. For instance, as part of our buddy program, we'll team you up with a previous graduate who'll offer advice, insight and provide moral support, and you'll get to "pick the brains" of one of nabCapital's senior business leaders as part of our Sponsor program
To complement your rotations and build on your growing knowledge, you'll also participate in an ongoing development program to build vital technical and business skills that will give you all the tools and resources you'll need to kick start your career.
At nabCapital, we want to develop well-rounded people, and to that end, you'll be encouraged to take part in our health and wellbeing sessions through to our Lunch and Learn seminars, which will bring you up-to-speed with current business issues.

You've achieved strong academic results (a minimum credit average) and have demonstrated your leadership potential through your involvement in community and extra curricular activities. You enjoy collaborating with others, but can also work independently; you're confident and decisive, and aren't afraid to take calculated risks.
Where do you come from?
We're looking for Australian-based graduates with either an undergraduate or postgraduate degree. While we aim for a diverse team, and recruit talented people from a wide variety of disciplines and backgrounds, degrees in Commerce, Banking & Finance, Economics, Accounting, Arts or Engineering will be highly regarded.
