NAB supports emerging Indigenous leaders

NAB is funding 20 Indigenous Leadership Scholarships in a joint initiative with the Australian Indigenous Leadership Centre (AILC).

The NAB scholarships will fund course placements for Indigenous Australians seeking to gain formal leadership qualifications through the AILC’s Indigenous Leadership certificate courses.

NAB’s Indigenous Affairs Manager, Stephanie Rice said that the scholarships aim to support emerging Indigenous leaders by giving course graduates the necessary knowledge, experience and skills to position them for pivotal leadership roles.

"This initiative is part of our Reconciliation Action Plan and we are encouraging our Indigenous customers and organisations to put forward applicants for the NAB scholarships, " added Stephanie.

The AILC will award the NAB Indigenous Scholarships to the twenty applicants who best fit the course criteria.
