Staff volunteer program growing year on year
For over ten years, NAB has actively supported its employees to volunteer their time and skills back into the community.
This year, our people completed a record 6,360 volunteer days across the country, an increase of 22.2% from the previous year. This means approximately 29% of staff utilised their volunteer leave, which totals an in-kind value of over $2.2 million”.
“Our people regularly tell us how important volunteering is to them and they have worked on a wide range of community initiatives throughout the year,” said Rita Marigliani, Manager Corporate Volunteering.
“In February, our people came out in droves to volunteer in various Victorian bushfire recovery initiatives. We have also recently seen a stronger interest in skill based volunteering projects, from building websites to running financial literacy programs for not for profits”.
