8 November 2000 - National invests in software company

National Australia Investment Capital Limited (NAICL), a subsidiary of the National which makes venture capital investments in innovative, high-growth businesses, has taken a 40 per cent stake in the Melbourne-based software company, In Matrix Holdings Pty Ltd.

In Matrix develops cutting-edge financial diagnostic software products, which are used by businesses, accountants, consultants and banks, worldwide. The company was founded by Alan Miltz, Andre Gien and Joss Milner, who have extensive experience in management consulting and information technology.

NAICL's investment will allow In Matrix to realise the full potential of its flagship software program, Optimist, develop further niche business management tools and web enable its products.
