National Increases Fixed Home Loan Interest Rates - 11 February 2000

The National Australia Bank will increase some fixed home loan interest rates by 0.2 to 0.4%. The changes are effective from Monday February 14. The new fixed home loan rates are: One Year 7.59% Two Years 8.09% Three Years 7.99% Four Years 8.29% Five Years 8.39% Ten Years 8.49% The increase in fixed rates reflects the rise in the underlying cost of funds. The six month and one year National Tailored Home Loan fixed rates are unchanged at 5.49% and 6.45% respectively.
