National Australia Bank Moves Retirement Account Interest Rates - 13 March 2000

National Australia Bank has moved interest rates for the National Retirement Account in line with the new deeming rates announced earlier this month.

The new rates will apply from March 20, the same day as the new deeming rates.

The rates are 3.5% for $2000 to less than $30,800 and 5.5% for more than $30,800. This is an increase of 0.5 and 1.0% respectively.

The National Retirement Account allows a minimum of eight free withdrawals a month and does not charge an account-keeping fee.
