National Australia Bank has become the first financial institution to offer small business customers a comprehensive GST assistance package consisting of banking and non-banking products.
Designed to enable customers to prepare their business for the introduction of the GST , the 'National Tailored GST Business Package' offers:
A facility to manage GST cashflow
$20K line of credit for GST requirements, with no application fee
The ability to offset GST receipts against overdraft
Discounts on Dell Personal Computers, MYOB GST Accounting Software and ICAA GST Answers training CD-ROM
Free ICAA "Simple GST Guide"
To qualify for the discount offers, customers must use the National Business Access Card to make the purchases from the third-party suppliers. The Business Access facility will provide customers with a line of credit to assist with their GST purchases. Application fees on facilities up to $20,000 will be waived. The cost of the card is $24 per annum.
The National Tailored GST Business Package is primarily aimed at two markets: small business operators and public accountants with a small business clientele. The package of benefits will be available until 27 October 2000.
