HomeSide Mortgage Securities Trust program prices inaugural deal - 18 January 2001

HomeSide Mortgage Securities Trust 2001-1, issuing 2 classes of notes, will close on the 25th of January 2001. The Class B Notes, rated AA/Aa2/AA by all three rating agencies Standard & Poor's, Moody's and Fitch, totaling A$20 million, priced today at 3mBBSW + 52 basis points and will be placed with a number of domestic investors. National Australia Securities Limited was the sole dealer and saw significant demand for the notes. The Class A Notes, rated AAA/Aaa/AAA by the same three rating agencies, totalling US$1,059 million, priced Wednesday morning, 17 January 2001 New York time, at 3mLibor + 19 basis points. The deal is lead managed by National Australia Bank (London Branch), Deutsche Bank and JP Morgan.
