National makes second drawdown payment to growers - 15 May 2001

National Australia Bank has announced payment rates for the second Wheat Advance facility drawdown.
Mr Mike Carroll, the National's General Manager, Agribusiness, said the drawdowns were being made to customers from May 10 and statements would be issued from May 14.
"Growers will be particularly pleased with their payments, as we've seen a considerable improvement in wheat prices over recent months," said Mr Carroll.
Payments per tonne for the 2000/2001 second drawdown on National Wheat Advance are as follows:
