Donate to the Bali Appeal via phone, Internet, or National Branch - 17 October 2002

Australians who wish to donate to the Australian Red Cross Bali Appeal can donate at the National in a number of different, convenient ways:

• Calling the National's special Bali Appeal Hotline on 13 10 18 to donate by credit card;
• From Friday 18th October, donating via BPAY through any financial institution using BPAY Biller Code 12724 and BPAY reference code 2254.  Both debit and credit cards will be accepted; or
• Making a cash or cheque donation at any National branch across Australia.

Credit card customers of the National who are experiencing hardship as a direct result of the Bali tragedy should call the dedicated hotline on 1300 656 364.

The National's $1 million donation to the Australian Red Cross Bali Appeal will help to assist victims of the tragedy.

The National's Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Mr Frank Cicutto, urged all Australians to contribute to the fund to assist victims.

Donations may be tax-deductible.  Donors should retain a copy of their bank account statement to support any tax claim.
