New $800,000 Albury Financial Service Centre officially opens - 9 December 2002

The National's General Manager for Agribusiness today officially opened the National's new Financial Service Centre in Albury.  The Financial Service Centre will house a professional team of specialists to assist National customers with a wide range of their financial services needs.

The new Financial Service Centre in Albury is part of the National's commitment to provide financial solutions to a wide range of customers across Australia.  It has involved an investment of $800,000 to create the new centre.

"The new premises for the National have been built using local businesses and will help to support the further growth of the Albury/Wodonga area," said Mr Carroll.

"The National's investment in the Albury/Wodonga region is part of a significant program to build 16 new Financial Service Centres and upgrade others across Australia.

"The new Centre will service Albury and Wodonga as the major local centres in the region.

"The Albury FSC will be home for around 60 staff including the Area Sales & Service Managers, Business, Agribusiness and Personal bankers. Other services to be provided from the Financial Service Centre include insurance and financial planning," added Mr Carroll.

The branch network will continue to service the daily transactional needs of all National customers, together with Australia Post outlets that service personal customers.
