National Australia Bank relief fund for victims of Asian tsunami

The National has announced donations of $1.1 million and substantial in-kind support to help victims of the Asian tsunami. These donations are being provided to World Vision and CARE Australia. Please see the media release for more details.
The National has also established a relief fund for customer donations. People can donate to the relief fund through any National Australia Bank branch. All proceeds will be given to World Vision for distribution to victims and their families.

Donations of $2 or more are tax deductible: Customers are required to retain "deposit slips" or "cheque stubs" which must include the charity, their account number, the donated amount and a branch stamp. This is considered reasonable evidence by the Australian Taxation Office to support a claim for a tax deduction.
