National Online Version 9.02 Software Upgrade Download

Before upgrading we recommend you follow the steps below to upgrade your National Online software to version 9.02.

Step 1: Print the upgrade instructions and backup  your existing National Online folder

  1. Print this document so you will be able to follow the instructions whilst upgrading to version 9.02. To do so, use your browser's file menu > print command. 
  2. Read through the whole document to familiarise yourself with the download and upgrade steps.
  3. Close all other applications including National Online.
  4. Backup your National Online software by:
    a) creating a folder called National32 on the drive where National Online is installed.
    b) taking a copy of your current National Online folder (generally C:ProgramFilesNational Online Banking) and placing it in the new National32 folder. 

Step 2: Download and save the upgrade file

Depending on your Internet connection speed, downloading of the upgrade file from NAB's website can vary from a few seconds to 20 minutes or longer.

  1. Click on the download button.
  2. The file download window appears. Select Save this program to disk and click OK.
  3. The Save As window appears. Select where you would like to save the file on your computer and remember or write down this location.
  4. Click Save to start downloading the upgrade file. 

           When the download process is complete, you may disconnect from the Internet, and proceed
           to step 3.

Step 3: Run the upgrade program

Please note that for LAN-Network installations you will need to locate the "National Online Banking" folder of the National Online installation which is located on your Server's LAN drive and save the upgrade files to that directory.  This is the only directory that you will need to upgrade.

If National Online is installed in a different location you will need to click the "Browse" button to locate and select the folder where National Online is installed.

  1. Locate the file you downloaded to your computer (it is called V138Upgrade.exe) and double click on it.
  2. Select the folder you wish to save the uploaded files to.  By default the folder for the upgrade is listed as "C:Program FilesNational Online Banking".
  3. Click Unzip to proceed.

Step 4: Run the upgrade program

National Online will not upgrade to version 9.02 until you exit and then re-start the application. 

The startup screen should now display National Online 9.02 once the upgrade is applied.
