NAB Internet Banking is changing – December 2011

At NAB, we’re always looking for ways to help you manage your money better. From December 3rd 2011, you’ll notice some changes to your NAB Internet Banking.

Updated log in screen

  • Easier password reset
  • Help buttons to assist you locating your NAB ID
  • News feed advising you of new Internet Banking features or updates

Account summary page refresh

  • Improved design so you can navigate and manage all of your accounts easier
  • A featured mailbox so you can easily locate your messages
  • Easy access to apply for new accounts from within Internet Banking
  • Simplified ‘Settings Menu’

NAB Internet Banking Enhancements – May 2011

We've made some changes to NAB Internet Banking, which are designed to make it more convenient and give you more choice of how you bank.

Statements now available for business accounts online

Business customers will now also be able to view and download up to 7 years of account statements via NAB Internet Banking - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Select Statements from the Account Info menu and follow the prompts.

International transfer enhancements

You can now send an International funds transfer to over 60 countries with Bahrain, French Polynesia, Israel, Jordan, Samoa, Saudi Arabia, Solomon Islands, Thailand, United Arab Emirates and Vietnam now added to the eligible countries list.

Easier access to open transaction and iSaver accounts

We’ve made it easier for you to apply for transaction and iSaver accounts from within NAB Internet Banking. Select Transaction accounts or Savings accounts from within the Apply Now menu and open a new account today.

Simpler process to reset your password

We’ve simplified the process to reset your password should you ever be blocked out of Internet Banking.

NAB Internet Banking features reminder

We’ve made it easier for you to activate features such as SMS Security, Pay Anyone, Smart statements, NAB alerts and account nicknames by having a reminder on the Account Summary.

View your NAB letters online

You can now view a copy of the correspondence we’ve sent you in the mail.

NAB Internet Banking Enhancements – March 2011

We've made some changes to NAB Internet Banking, which are designed to make it more convenient and give you more choice of how you bank.

Register for NAB Internet Banking

If you haven't yet registered for NAB Internet Banking or have been locked out, now it's even easier to get online. If your mobile number is recorded with us, you can now select Register in the top right hand corner and follow the steps. We'll then SMS an authentication code to your mobile to use as a password.

Donations online

We’ve made it easier for you to make donations to NAB endorsed charities. Select Donations from the Funds Transfer menu and help your favourite charity today.

Activate pay anyone access

We’ve made it easier for you to subscribe to Pay Anyone access. When you access a function that requires pay anyone, we’ll allow you to subscribe for it immediately online and then continue with the transaction.

Manage your own daily transfer limit

You can now immediately adjust your daily transfer limit between $1,000 and $10,000 online with SMS Security. You can also apply to increase your daily limit beyond $10,000 to a maximum of $20,000 via Internet Banking. This request can take up to 2 business days to be processed.

SMS Security to a landline

If you don’t have a mobile phone or live in a low mobile coverage area we’ve also added the ability to receive a security code to a landline (work or home phone number).

International funds transfer enhancements

You can now send an International funds transfer to more than 50 countries including Andorra, Estonia, Guernsey, Isle of Man, Jersey, Lithuania, Monaco and San Marino.

You now also have the ability to create periodic international transfers with the option to have your payment processed weekly, fortnightly, monthly or quarterly.

Credit card payment reminders for business credit cards

You can now receive a credit card payment reminder for some business cards via email or SMS. Be reminded up to seven days before your monthly business credit card bill is due.

Online assistant now available within NAB Internet Banking

To provide you with faster and more convenient help we’ve included our online assistant within Internet Banking. You’ll be able to ask questions and receive immediate responses while performing your banking.

Christmas 2010 important information

As the Christmas/New Year period draws closer, we want to remind you of the processing times and our support centre availability during this period.

Funds Transfers and Bill Payments

We'll still process funds transfers between your linked NAB accounts immediately.

Funds transfers and bill payments submitted after the published cut-off times on Friday 24 December 2010 to a non-linked NAB account or to an account at another financial institution in Australia will be processed on Wednesday 29 December 2010.

Funds transfers and bill payments submitted after the published cut-off times on Friday 31 December 2010 to a non-linked NAB account or to an account at another financial institution in Australia will be processed on Tuesday 4 January 2011.

International transfers

International transfers submitted after the published cut-off times on Friday 24 December 2010 will be processed on Wednesday 29 December 2010.

International transfers submitted after the published cut-off times on Friday 31 December 2010 will be processed on Tuesday 4 January 2011.

NAB Internet Banking Support Team availability

For your convenience our Internet Banking Support Team will continue to be available during the following times over the Christmas/New Year period:

  • 7:00am - 9:00pm (AEDT), Monday to Friday
  • 8:00am - 6:00pm (AEDT), Saturday & Sunday

NAB Internet Banking Enhancements – August 2010

From Saturday 21 August 2010 we’ve made some changes to NAB Internet Banking

International transfer enhancements

We've added Hungary, Kuwait, Mexico and South Africa to the list of eligible countries that can be transferred to with a view to include further countries in our next upgrade in December 2010.

You now have the ability to have any additional overseas bank fees either charged back to your account or debited from the funds sent.

We'll pre-populate a recommended foreign currency once you select which country you are transferring the funds to. If required, you’ll still be able to choose to transfer in another currency

SMS Security code change

We know that your time is valuable so we've reduced the SMS Security code from 8 to 6 digits.

Menu changes

You'll notice that the 'Contact us' menu option has been changed to 'mailbox'. To make it easier for you we've removed the Contact Info and NAB Locations options from within this menu and moved them to the top utility bar and renamed them 'contact us' and locate us'

We've also made some changes to the 'my settings' menu and removed the word modify before each of the options.

NAB Internet Banking Enhancements – May 2010

From Saturday 22 May 2010 we’ve made some changes to NAB Internet Banking.

NAB Smart Statements

Statements for your eligible accounts will now be automatically available through NAB Internet Banking – even if you’re still receiving paper statements.

Access your NAB Smart Statements now by logging into NAB Internet Banking:

  • navigate to the "Account info" menu;
  • select "Statements";
  • select an account from the dropdown list;
  • select ‘Most recent statement’ or enter a date range;
  • click ‘Submit’

NAB Internet Banking Enhancements – March 2010

From Saturday 20 March 2010, we’ve made NAB Internet Banking even easier to use.

SMS Banking and Alerts

You may have been using NAB SMS Alerts to keep up to date with when your credit card payments are due, to confirm your account balances or receive payment notifications through SMS.

We've enhanced the service – choose email or SMS

'NAB SMS Alerts' has been renamed 'NAB Alerts'. That's because you're now be able to choose to receive these alerts by email or SMS, making it even easier to keep up with your banking. You'll continue to receive these at no charge.

You’ll now also have the flexibility to receive your account balance alert at a time that is more suitable to you.

If you already subscribe to NAB SMS Alerts, these will continue to be delivered to you as an SMS, but will be called NAB Alerts.

Activate or modify your NAB Alerts now by logging in to Internet Banking and select "My Settings" and "NAB Alerts".
