How do I transfer funds into my account?
To transfer funds into your account please visit your local bank and complete an international outward payment form with the following details:
- NAB Account Number
- NAB Account Name
- NAB Head Office Address: 500 Bourke Street, Melbourne, VIC, 3000, Australia (NAB Head Office)
- NAB Swift Code: //NATAAU3303M
- All the information required to transfer funds to your NAB Account is provided in your Account Confirmation Letter once your account has been opened. Please be aware that your account can only be used to deposit money into until you have completed identification requirements in Australia.
- What is NAB’s IBAN number?
- We do not have IBAN numbers in Australia, they are used only in the UK and Europe. To transfer funds into your account you require only a SWIFT Code, BSB, Account Number & Account Name, which can be found in your Account Confirmation Letter.
- What address do I use when transferring funds to my account?
- Please address all international transfers into your account to NAB Head Office, which is located at 500 Bourke Street, Melbourne, VIC 3000 AUSTRALIA.

- Telephone & Internet Banking
- How can I get Telephone & Internet banking for my account?
- Unfortunately NAB internet & telephone banking is unavailable prior to your arrival into Australia. During your first meeting with your banker in Australia they will assist with issuing access codes to register for convenience banking. If you require confirmation that a transfer of funds has been successful you can email your banker or our NAB Migrant Banking Team.

- How much does my account cost to set up?
- NAB Migrant Banking accounts are free to set up. Prior to your arrival into Australia we do not charge a monthly account fee and there is no minimum deposit on your account. Please refer to your account terms and conditions for information on any ongoing fees applicable to your account
- Joint Accounts
- Please note Joint accounts will remain with a stop to debits until both account holders have arrived in Australia and completed identification requirements.
