Establishing a NAB Equity Facility

To establish a NAB Equity Lending Facility for your client(s) follow these simple steps:

  1. Obtain a NAB Equity Lending Application kit by:
    • downloading a copy of the NAB Equity Lending Application kit
    • calling 1300 135 145 or emailing us at equity.lending@nab.com.au and requesting an Application kit to be mailed to you; or
    • ordering via Easy Order on mlc.com.au (quote stationery number 60884)
  2. Be sure that your clients read the NAB Equity Lending Product Disclosure Statement and all of the other information in the Application kit before submitting the application form.
  3. Mail the completed application form and supporting documentation to us at:

Loan approval process

All loan applications are subject to approval. NAB Equity Lending will generally approve individual or joint applications within 48 hours of receipt of the application. Applications from companies and trustees on behalf of trusts may take longer to approve.

On approval of the application, you will receive confirmation of your client's Facility details. Your client will receive a welcome kit with a letter confirming the approval of their Facility, and details about how to operate their Facility.

Transitioning your business to NAB Equity Lending

We have a dedicated team who can provide support in transitioning your existing margin loan clients to NAB Equity Lending. The levels of support provided are dependant on a variety of factors including:

  • the number of clients involved;
  • loan volume; and
  • the transition process/requirements from your existing platform provider.
