National Australia Bank today announced it will facilitate donations through its branch network and internet banking channel for the Save the Children Typhoon Haiyan Appeal.
Donations made to the Save the Children Typhoon Haiyan Appeal will help children and families devastated by typhoon Haiyan. NAB General Manager of Corporate Responsibility, Paula Benson said the funds would go towards short term aid measures and long term projects.
"The Save the Children Typhoon Haiyan Appeal will provide shelter, food, drinking water, hygiene and sanitation for communities affected by typhoon Haiyan.
"Funds raised will also support long term projects such as the rebuilding of essential infrastructure including schools, and will also provide reunification and protection services for the most vulnerable children."
Donations can be made through the NAB branch network, and NAB customers can also make donations through internet banking.
All donations of two dollars and over are tax-deductible.
