What’s your story?
When I was little, everyone thought I would grow up to be journalist because I asked so many questions! I've taken my curiosity and love of learning on a slightly different path where I'm focused on understanding some of society's biggest issues and working on new ways to tackle them.
How have you made a difference?
I've recently had the privilege of working with our partners at Good Shepherd Microfinance to create and launch a more affordable small cash loans product called Speckle, for people who have limited access to credit.
Money is an enabler for people in so many ways. But, for lots of different reasons, not everyone qualifies for financial products like credit, leaving them with limited choices. Around 3 million Australians are currently financially excluded.
Every day I get to be part of the team progressing NABs commitment to addressing this issue - we've helped over half a million people so far through our partnership with Good Shepherd.
What are you passionate about?
Books and writing. Nothing makes me happier than getting lost in a great story! I'm also a freelance writer and love working with clients focused on creating a positive social impact.
