What’s your story?
I currently work in NAB Assist where we help our customers, who are experiencing financial difficulty, to get them back on their feet. In my current role, I am lucky enough to work on innovative and exciting new ways to help our customers when they are doing it tough.
I am also studying a Bachelor of Business (Management) and am lucky to have amazing backers in the NAB Assist team to help me achieve this.
How has NAB made a difference?
I am very privileged to be a part of developing a brand new solution for our customers called the NAB Assist Bond where we reward our customers for making regular repayments by giving them 25% of the payments they make back to further reduce their debt or paid into a transaction account. The choice is theirs!
I also worked as a part of the on-the-ground support team for our customers impacted by Cyclone Debbie in 2017. This was such a humbling experience to be on the front line and witness first-hand the devastation the cyclone had caused. I was also able to meet some truly amazing and inspiring customers who had lost everything and were determined to re-build. True Aussie battlers!
Being the only bank present in the local community hubs supporting our customers made me so proud to both work for and represent NAB.
What are you passionate about?
I’m passionate about backing our customers when they are doing it tough and finding new ways to offer support beyond just financial assistance.
I am also passionate about developing people. I get my energy and drive from supporting and enabling our people to deliver on their dreams and kick goals every day!
