He's passionate about helping small businesses in Australia and the West Coast Eagles.
Name: Chandip Singh
Your role: Branch Manager, Belmont
Region: Belmont, Western Australia
What’s your story?
I was born in India, completed my MBA in International Business and after working for a few years in India, I moved to Perth. We came here as a migrant family with three bags and a lot of hope and belief. It took me 18 months to get a job at NAB and I haven’t looked back since.
How have you made a difference?
Being a migrant, I understand the struggles families can have to meet their daily needs and buy their first car, home or new furniture. NAB has given me an opportunity to help customers.
I try my best to place myself in their shoes and make sure that all customers who walk into my branch are looked after. My customers and staff are my extended family in Perth and I value each and every one of them.
I help customers by making their dreams a reality, I help my team to grow and achieve their goals and I believe in my leadership team.
What are you passionate about?
I am passionate about creating future leaders in whatever roles they are in. I was backed by NAB and my leaders when I first started and I am passionate to return the favour with my team – creating a better future.
