Lee is proud of NAB's culture and placing importance on cyber safety.
Name: Franca Moretto
Your role: Senior Analyst, Engineer
Region: Docklands, Victoria
What’s your story?
I’ve been at NAB since 2014 and my latest role has put me at the centre of our technology revolution; the NAB Cloud Guild. Outside of NAB I am a DevOps Girls organiser, whose aim is to enable and celebrate women in the DevOps community by organising events and boot camps.
How have you made a difference?
I’m on a mission to not only change the way we do tech at NAB, but I want to change the industry. I’m putting a spotlight on the talented women within the DevOps community. Visibility is key, and I hope to create an army of women to inspire the next generation of engineers. Day-to-day, I am challenging NAB and technology leaders to do more to address the diversity debt. I do this in the conversations I have and at larger scale through social media and organising events. The events I organise are providing a platform for women to launch their technology careers and for them to be celebrated for their achievements.
What are you passionate about?
People are my number one passion. I believe empathy is a skill we can all practice more. I love understanding what people love about their jobs and encouraging them to channel this to excel in their roles. People are NAB’s key to success and I’m dedicated to making the most of this. I also love tech and I’m constantly looking for new things to learn.
